Dear Colleagues,

It is a great honor to serve as the President of the Gujarat Orthopaedic Association. I sincerely thank you all for your trust and support.

Orthopaedics is evolving rapidly, and so must we. My vision is to strengthen GOA as a progressive, united, and academically vibrant platform, where every member grows together.

Our theme for the year is “Sanghchhadhwam – Let’s All Move Together.”
With this spirit, we aim to bring our clinical practice from OPD to PODIUM – encouraging every member to share knowledge, present experiences, and contribute to academic excellence.

We will focus on:
  • Academic growth and skill development
  • Stronger member engagement and unity
  • Advocacy for our profession
  • Public awareness and outreach
Together, with collective effort and shared purpose, we can take GOA to greater heights.

Greetings from the Gujarat Orthopaedic Association.

It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the Secretary of GOA for the year 2026–27.
I extend my sincere gratitude to our President, Dr. Kamlesh Devmurari, and our esteemed senior members for their trust, encouragement, and continued support.

Our vision for this year is to strengthen GOA through structured academic initiatives, enhanced digital engagement, and seamless communication among members. We aim to organize high-quality conferences, hands-on workshops, and comprehensive training programs that benefit both experienced surgeons and young orthopaedicians.

A key focus this year will be the integration of emerging technologies in orthopaedics. We aspire to promote the use of 3D printing for patient-specific solutions, along with Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in surgical planning, simulation, and training—bridging the gap between innovation and clinical practice.

With the valuable guidance of our Past President, Dr. Dinesh Thakkar, and the dynamic support of President-Elect Dr. Bhavik Dalal, Treasurer Dr. Suketu Dave, and our dedicated Executive Committee, we look forward to a productive, progressive, and impactful year ahead.

Together, let us continue to build GOA as a vibrant platform that fosters excellence, unity, innovation, and advancement in orthopaedics.
