MONEY MANTRAS- FITNESS FUNDAS SEMINAR BY GUJARAT ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION @ AHMEDABAD

Gujarat Orthopaedic Association, in its drive to inculcate and spread knowledge and information beyond orthopaedics, arranged a unique seminar on fitness and finance management for GOA members.

Dr. Maharshi Bhatt was the key organising Coordinator who organised and implemented this novel event with aptitude and aplomb. This was done at Hotel Crowne Plaza, SG Road, Ahmedabad on 15th September, Sunday.

We had two faculties with great knowledge and experience regarding these topics which were as varied as chalk and cheese.

Dr. Raj Abhishek Singh Shekhawat, MPT, sports physiotherapist and an immaculate fitness trainer dealt with the sensitive topic of exercises and fitness protocols for various age groups of professional doctors. He highlighted the need of optimum training to have a healthy body to ensure a healthy mind. His outlook and fundamentals were quite engrossing and practically doable enough for most of the delegates, who also underwent some very basic sessions live.

He enriched us with his information on meticulous and judicious investment options. His applications were astute and reassuring. His insights were indeed smart and wise. He knew the pulse of the hoi polloi at large and could fine tune his modalities according to the apprehensions of doctors who are reluctant investors. He clarified all the doubts and controversies regarding reliable sources of wealth appreciation and development.

It was surely a refining and augmenting session of fitness and finance- our most overlooked and potentially weak points of professional culture. We had an exciting and whole hearted involvement of about 40-45 delegates who were aptly satisfied with the much needed non academic booster dose.

The event was attended by GOA President Dr. Vijay Sata, Secretary GOA Dr. Ketan Thakkar, Treasurer GOA Dr. Kamlesh Devmurari as well as many senior and junior consultant colleagues.
