BONE AND JOINT DAY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS BY GUJARAT ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION ( GOA)

As per the theme of ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS given by our parent body Indian Orthopaedic Association ( IOA), Gujarat Orthopedic Association has carried out the following activities through its city/ regional/ zonal associations-

🏀(1) Orthopaedic Society of Rajkot carried out 3 programs at Lal Bahadur Shastri School, KK Sheth Physiotherapy College and Minaben Kundalia College— about 350 students were encompassed and oriented. Under the leadership of President Dr. Dinesh Chauhan and Secretary Dr. Parin Kantesaria, three different speakers including Dr. Nishith Sanghvi, Dr. Kuldip Parmar and Dr. Harshil Parekh lucidly elucidated the Road Safety rules. Congratulations.

⚾️(2) South Gujarat Orthopaedic Association performed one event at Physiotherapy College where 60 students were benefited. President Dr. Nilesh Patel led by example by conducting this seminar himself. Kudos!

🥎(3) Baroda Orthopedic Association conducted Road Safety awareness activity at BPS school, Vadodara in two different batches, thereby informing and educating more than 100 students. President Dr. Samir Shah, Secretary Dr. Rajul Vala took the lead to do this commendable work. Very well done.

🏈(4) North Gujarat Orthopaedic Association under the leadership of President Dr. Vinodbhai Patel, Vice President Dr. Shailesh Sutariya, speaker and Secretary Dr. Nilesh Patel and Treasurer Dr. Nishant Chaudhari did fantabulous work as they carried out the program at Divine Child International School

(200 students) and Poddar International School( 150 students). Excellent work!

Dr. Virendra Shukla also arranged the Road Safety Awareness presentation at Gokul Global University, Siddhpur under the auspices of NGOA. This was very well appreciated by all. Super work!

🏉(5) Bharuch Ankleshwar Orthopaedic Association conducted 2 different seminars for Higher Secondary and Nursing School  and another one for Traffic Wardens, benefitting different strata of the society. President Dr. Suketubhai Dave, the ever energetic and enthusiastic leader was the speaker.  Wonderful work.

🏓(6) Kheda- Anand Orthopedic Association showed their dedication by carrying out 2 Road Safety Awareness seminars at Kumar School and DZ Patel School wherein about 200 students were made aware. President Dr. Niraj Shah, Secretary and speaker Dr. Bhavin Rupera and Secretary Dr. Krutarth Shah played yeoman role. Great contribution.

⚽️(7) Ahmedabad Orthopaedic Society did a novel event of creating awareness by organising a Cycle Drive Rally for Road Safety. Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Bhavik Dalal and Secretary Dr. Bhavesh Jesalpura, this was a successful program. Innovative!

🏹(8) Bhavnagar Orthopedic Society arranged the Road Safety seminar for Sahajanand Physiotherapy College where 80 students and faculties were appraised of the safety measures. President Dr. Chetan Rathod, Secretary Dr. Ravi Maradiya, Dr. Smit Vadher and Dr. Ravi Tadha were the active participants.

🏸(9) Vapi Valsad Orthopedic Forum conducted Road Safety Awareness program at Gyan Dham School, Vapi for 50 students. Secretary VVOF- Dr. Amit Deo was the lead person and the speaker. Congratulations.

⛳️A huge appreciation and acknowledgement to Dr. Narendra Parmar, EC member GOA for preparing the PowerPoint presentation and performing the duty of Coordinator of Bone and Joint Day 2024 with aplomb.
